Analytics
Track delivery, reactions, and replies across every channel in a broadcast.
Overview
Every send is recorded in Broadcast Analytics. Open Analytics from the Home tab to browse past broadcasts and direct message campaigns.
Broadcast list
Each entry shows:
- Internal name — the label you set in the send wizard
- Broadcast ID — an 8-character reference code
- Created by — the Slack user who sent it
- Created date and sent date
Broadcast performance
Click View on any entry to open the performance detail:
- Delivery percentage — how many destinations received the message
- Reactions and replies — totals across all channels
- Channels list — per-channel engagement with a Details button
- Message preview — the sent content
- Edit Message — update the body in place (if eligible)
- Last edited timestamp — if the broadcast was edited after sending
Channel detail
Click Details on a channel to see individual reactions (emoji + users) and replies (quoted text + user). Use Visit Channel to jump to the conversation in Slack.
Large broadcasts
Engagement display adapts to broadcast size:
| Channels | Display |
|---|---|
| 20 or fewer | Full reactions and replies inline |
| 21–50 | Reactions inline; replies via Details |
| More than 50 | Paginated channel list with Search Channels |
Direct message analytics
DM sends appear in the same analytics list. Detail views show recipients as people rather than channel names.
